About The Yellow Imp
I’m Matt. I’ve been painting miniatures, playing tabletop RPGs, and wargaming for 26 years now. That’s most of my life spent hunched over a hobby desk, so it seemed natural to try my hand at starting a hobby related business.
Buying minis stopped being enough and I want to start making them. Yellow Imp is the result of that. Everything in the store is either sculpted and cast by me in my basement, or printed under license from designers I love. If a mini is in here, odds are it’s already been on my own table.
My goal with The Yellow Imp is to just start with 3d printing cool minis as I expand my own line of miniatures. I plan on constantly adding more to the site and really appreciate you even looking at it.
I run The Hobbinomicon, a directory and news site for indie wargames, and I make bad YouTube videos about indie games, making terrain, and painting guides. Over at Alone in the Dungeon I write about solo roleplaying. Yes, I play RPGs alone in my basement. It rules.
Everything I make is human made. No AI art, no AI sculpts, period.
