Got a file? I’ll print it.

If you’ve got a file you want in your hands instead of on your hard drive, send it over and I’ll print it properly.

How it works

1. Tell me what you want. Send the STL, or a link to where I can find it, and say how many you need and what scale. If you’re not sure it’ll print, send it anyway and I’ll look. You also need to provide a printing license, or I will charge you to obtain one myself.
2. I quote it and we agree. I’ll come back with a price and how long it’ll take, based on how big it is, how much support it needs, and how long it will take to finish it based on what’s already in the queue.
3. I make it and ship it. Washed, completely cured, and most of the supports off.

What you get

• Printed at 30 microns with good resin.
• Supports removed and most nubs cleaned up, so what arrives is ready for primer rather than ready for an evening with a scalpel.
• Washed and fully cured. No tacky surface or leaking time bombs.
• Packed so it survives the post office.
• If something fails on my end, I reprint it. That’s my problem, not yours.

What I need from you

• The file, and the right to print it. Most commercial STLs come with a personal-use only license. If you’re not sure, ask me and we’ll work it out.
• Scale, or the size you want it to end up.
• Anything fragile or fiddly you already know about, so I can plan the supports around it.

What I can’t do

I won’t print anything I don’t think you have the right to print, and I won’t print a file that’s clearly someone else’s commercial sculpt being passed around. Not a moral lecture, I just don’t want the trouble.

Very large single pieces are limited by the printer’s build plate. If it doesn’t fit, I’ll tell you, and usually we can cut it into parts that do.

Prices

Pricing depends on size and how much resin the job actually eats, so I quote per job rather than posting a table that would be wrong half the time. Send me the file and you’ll have a number back quickly.
