I’ll build & paint your minis.

I paint every day. It’s the part of this hobby I never get tired of, and it’s the reason the shop exists at all. If you’ve got models you want painted and you’re never going to get to them, send them to me.

How it works

1. Tell me what you want. What the models are, how many, and the look you’re after. Photos of a scheme you like are worth more than any description, so send those if you have them.
2. I quote it and we agree. The table below is an estimate. The quote is the price, and it comes with a turnaround. Nothing starts until you’re happy with it.
3. Deposit. Half up front to begin. It holds your slot in the queue and covers materials.
4. I paint them, and you see them. Photos throughout the process, and a final set to sign off before anything gets packed.
5. They ship. The balance is due before they go out.

What you get

• Models cleaned up, assembled if they need it, and primed with high quality primer (Pro Acryl Primer).
• A finished project that matches what we agreed on.
• Sealed with a matte varnish (or gloss if you want) so it survives being played with.
• Progress photos partway through, and a chance to say “actually, more red” before it’s too late.

Levels

Two finishes. The difference is time on the same models, not a different painter turning up.

• Batch. Airbrushed base work, washes, and the key details picked out. It sits a notch above what most people consider tabletop ready. Right for armies, units and bigger warbands.
• Advanced. The same models, taken further. Extra brush time on highlights, faces, and freehand where it earns its place. Right for characters, single models, and warbands where every member gets individual attention.

Mixing the two in one crew is normal and encouraged. Batch troops with an Advanced leader is a good way to spend the money where it shows.

What I don’t take on is competition display one-offs.

Prices

Assembly and cleaning is charged per model on everything, so a quote is always painting plus assembly, shown as two numbers instead of one lump you can’t check.

• Multi-part resin kits: assembly +50%. Resin is more work to clean and pin, and that’s the column it lands in.
• No surcharge for any colour scheme. White and yellow cost the same as everything else.
• Basic basing is included. Scenic or sculpted basing is $3 to $10 per model depending on size.
• Anything gargantuan gets quoted on its own.

Most 5 to 10 model skirmish warbands land between $180 and $450 including assembly. Batch sits at the low end, a fully Advanced crew at the top.

These prices are estimates. Every job gets a quote, and the quote is the final price. The table is here so you know the order of magnitude before you write to me, not so you have to do the sums yourself.

Armies

I take one army project at a time, quoted as a whole rather than per model. Ask me about the current availability.

Turnaround

Quoted with your price. It depends on what’s already in the queue and what you’re asking for, and I’d rather give you a real date than a vague range I’ll end up apologising for.

The honest part

I’m one person with a day’s worth of hours in a day. If the queue is long I’ll tell you it’s long rather than take your money and go quiet. And if what you want isn’t something I’m good at, I’ll say that too.
