Frequently Asked Questions
The questions most people ask me. If yours isn’t here, just ask me. It’s a one-man shop, so you’re not emailing a support desk.
Do they come painted?
No. Everything ships unpainted, in grey resin, ready for you to prime and have at it. Painting them is the fun part and I’d hate to take it from you, unless you hire me to.
Do they arrive assembled?
No. They ship unassembled, so there’s a bit of glue work before you get to the fun part. You will need some superglue to put most of my kits together.
Are bases included?
Most of the time, yes. Every product page lists the base size under Details, so you can double check before you order rather than guessing after it turns up.
How much support cleanup is there?
Some, but it should be minimal. I take most of the supports off during the cleaning and curing stage, so what lands on your desk should just need a light tidying, nothing extensive.
What are they made of?
Resin. The printed ones are mostly Siraya Tech Build in grey, and I keep the manufacturer’s safety and compliance docs on the Materials & Safety page. A cured mini is a stable hunk of plastic and it’s perfectly fine to handle.
Cast minis are cast using resin and you should follow the same safety standards.
What scale are these?
28mm and 32mm, depending on the model, and the exact scale is listed on every product page under Details along with the base size.
What games do they work with?
They’re generic fantasy miniatures, so they’ll work with most rank-and-flank and skirmish rulesets. The ones I’ve actually checked them against are Hobgoblin, Greathelm and One Page Rules, and you’ll see those listed on the product pages. If you play something else, they’re still just nice minis, nothing about them is locked to a system.
What does “made to order” actually mean?
It means I haven’t got one sitting in a box waiting for you. When you order, I cast or print it, clean it up some, and then it ships. That’s why there’s a lead time on the product page instead of same-day dispatch. It also helps me keep prices down because I do not have to store a ton of inventory.
How long before it ships?
If it’s in stock, 1 to 3 business days. If it’s made to order, it’s whatever the lead time on that product page says — usually 5 to 10 business days before it’s even in the mail. Then it’s USPS Ground Advantage on top, normally another 2 to 5 business days.
Ordered a mix of both? The whole box goes out together once the slowest thing is ready. If you’d rather have it split into two shipments, just ask and we can work something out.
What does shipping cost?
$7.99 flat per order, USPS Ground Advantage with tracking. Spend over $79 and it’s free. Full details on the Shipping page.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. I’d genuinely love to, but the postage math overseas is brutal right now and I’d rather not charge you $40 to send you a $12 mini. US only for the time being.
Can I return something?
No returns or refunds if you change your mind.
What I do cover is my own mistakes. If it turns up busted, or there’s a casting or printing issue, or I sent you the wrong thing — send me a photo within 14 days and I’ll ship a replacement free. Don’t bother mailing the broken one back. Keep it, kitbash it, whatever you like. The Returns page has the full version.
Who sculpts these?
Not me. I cast and print them, but the sculpts come from independent artists I’m properly licensed to produce. You’ll see the sculptor credited as the brand on every product page. Supporting them is part of the point.
Can I ask you about a model before I buy?
Please do. Drop me a line. I’d much rather spend five minutes helping you get the right thing than have you end up with something that isn’t what you pictured.
