Wardens of the Southern Mines

The Lowland Mantleguard protect the mines and settlements of the Lowlands under the command of Veyra, younger sister of Voss and an Exalted Bellbound Luminant.

Once a geologist and botanist, Veyra continues her experiments after death, developing new alloys, alchemical materials, and even the resonance-enhancing textile worn by her personal guard, the Mantleguard.

Armed with shields and double-bladed Keyberds, the Mantleguard are swift, disciplined, and ferocious. Some even say they can rival the legendary Cymbalam in battle.

The warband came out of a Benbam Works community contest, where Entry No. 1 by @jack.of.all.hobbies took Best Banner. A little of Entry No. 4 by @beniciodeltrejo found its way in too, since both had visual ideas too strong to leave out.
